Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Grand Rapids, MI Employer: VISTA Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Are you a Gastroenterology/Advanced Endoscopy physician searching for your next permanent placement opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Grand Rapids, MI might be the perfect fit for you! Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Full-time; call coverage anticipated every 8th week; typical daily endoscopy schedule includes 14 outpatient procedures; inpatient census averages fewer than 10 patients with APP support Job Setting: Large System Gastroenterology Team; high-volume endoscopy-only ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and state-of-the-art inpatient endoscopy unit on the same campus; modern facilities equipped with Olympus 190 scopes, Epic, and Provation Types of Cases: Advanced endoscopy; comprehensive range of endoscopic techniques; inpatient and outpatient procedures; referral center for Trinity Health West Michigan; collaboration with Lacks Cancer Center and Cancer Center Network of West Michigan Compensation: Competitive salary starting at $600,000 plus $75,000 starting bonus; relocation assistance up to $10,000 (for qualifying candidates); full-time comprehensive benefit package; employer-paid malpractice and tail coverage; 403b retirement plan with employer match and 457b savings plan; CME funds; licensure and professional membership support Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified in specialty required; Board Eligible candidates must become Board Certified within 5 years of becoming Board Eligible (no exceptions) Certifications: BLS certification (must maintain recertification); DEA required; 4th year advanced endoscopy training required Licensure: Valid Michigan medical license required at time of employment About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
