Doctor of Medicine | Radiology - Womens/Breast/Mammo Location: Lafayette, LA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Radiologist – Breast Imaging Specialist – Lafayette, LA Are you a dedicated breast radiologist seeking a stable, full-time outpatient position with a leading facility in Lafayette, Louisiana? Enjoy a consistent Mon-Fri schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with no call or weekend commitments. Quick Facts: Location: Lafayette, LA Start Date: 07/01/2026 (or upon agreement) Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (in person) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract/Locum Tenens or Permanent Licenses/Certs: Louisiana Medical License, Breast Imaging Fellowship Required Experience: Prior breast imaging experience preferred (specific years not specified) Pay & Benefits: Pay rate: $1.00/hour (discuss upon application) Benefits: Details to be provided upon request Additional info: Full Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Louisiana Provider Credentialing Form (PCF) required to be fully credentialed at site What You’ll Do: Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound biopsies, Breast MRI, and breast MRI biopsies Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient breast imaging environment Ensure patient safety and quality care during procedures Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up as per facility protocols Comply with all credentialing and site-specific requirements What You Need: Active Louisiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one Breast Imaging Fellowship certification Prior experience in breast imaging (preferred but not explicitly required) Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment: Join a leading healthcare provider in Lafayette, LA, providing outpatient breast imaging services that include screening mammograms, diagnostic imaging, and biopsies.
