Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: Brattleboro, VT Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery • Job Type: Permanent • Facility Location: Brattleboro, VT • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Vacancy • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical Call • Work Schedule: TBD; Days (OR sched) • Call Schedule: TBD: Rotation • Required Procedures/Skills: - Proficiency in orthopedic surgical techniques & procedures, including familiarity w/ the latest advancements. - Joint replacements, Fracture repairs - Arthroscopy & other orthopedic interventions • Duties/Responsibilities: - Diagnose & evaluate orthopedic conditions through physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRI, and CT scans - Develop individualized treatment plans - Provide pre-operative and post-operative care - Dedication to ongoing professional development & staying updated w/ emerging trends & research in orthopedic surgery. • EMR: Cerner • Other Info: Not open to candidates who commute more than 1 hr and or plan to work this job in conjunction with another position.
