Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: Reno, NV Employer: AAS Locum Tenens Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon with t otal joints experience to join an established orthopedic surgery program serving a rural community near Reno, Nevada. This unique opportunity offers full-scope orthopedic practice, a predictable schedule, and full travel support—without the need to relocate. Highlights: Balanced mix of elective and acute orthopedic cases Predictable 10 shifts/month providing 24/7 ED orthopedic call coverage Shifts selected 120 days in advance Fly-in model – licensing and all travel covered Hospitalist-supported admissions Focus on growing elective volume (total joints, arthroscopy, hand, basic fracture care) Onsite clinic with protected OR time Established, collaborative surgical team Benefits: $3195 Per Shift Full benefits including medical, CME, 401(k) Malpractice with tail coverage No non-compete Requirements: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training or strong experience in Total Joint Replacement preferred Eligible for medical licensure in Nevada (licensing support provided) Ability to manage both elective and acute orthopedic cases Willingness to participate in ED call coverage as part of the program model Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care AAS614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
