Overview
nHelio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, thePhysicianwill provide management and coordination of services to patients participating in our treatment programs.
nThe Physician will work on a Part Timebasis out of Helio Health’sRochester Comprehensive Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP).
nPay Rate: $130.00- $150.00 per hour
nResponsibilities
nnnThe Physician works independently under the administrative supervision of the Service Director or Regional Vice President and the medical and clinical supervision of the Medical Director and/or Physician.
n
nnThe Physician works with patients, agency staff and volunteers, community agencies and other providers of medical/psychiatric services.
n
nnProvide direct patient care of medical examination and monitoring, implementation of medical orders, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
n
nnServe on special review and quality assurance committees as assigned.
n
nnProvide and document medical consultation, assessment, examination, treatment planning and review consistent with agency policy and requirements.
n
nnOn-call responsibilities required for specific levels of care.
n
nnOther related assignments and duties consistent with training and experience.

n nQualifications
nnnMust be a licensed physician currently registered by the NYS Education Department.
n
nnAt least one year of experience or comparable training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or dependency.
n
nnHave prescriptive authority and a DEA number.
n
nnBasic computer skills required.
n
