Opportunity:
Covering Medical Director
Job Details:
- Serve as Covering Medical Director for the Acute Rehabilitation Unit
- Collaborate with the Medical Director, Program Director and entire clinical team
- Provide medical direction in conformance with facility policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Work within Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines
- Maintain Joint Commission standards and requirements
- Support comprehensive rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy
- Work with interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists
- Focus on individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and daily functioning
- Help patients achieve highest level of independence and successful transition back to home and community
- Independent contractor status with flexible scheduling
- Access to latest technology and best in class compliance team
- Training and support provided in collaborative team environment
