West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department ofCardiology seek a fellowship-trained Medical Director of CardiacElectrophysiology (ranks available: Assistant Professor, AssociateProfessor, or Professor) to join our rapidly growing, academic,state-of-the-art, employed faculty.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will have primary practice sites inWheeling, WV as well as the Morgantown, WV campus. This position isstructured as a 50/50 split between Wheeling and Morgantown,ensuring integration with the academic medical center whilemaintaining a strong presence in the Wheeling community. Theselected physician will participate in a rotation with currentelectrophysiologists in Morgantown to maintain this balance.
Duties:
Provide exceptional patient care in the field of cardiacelectrophysiology.
Actively participate in the teaching and mentoring of medicalstudents, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for astate medical license.
ABIM Electrophysiology Board Certification or Eligibilityrequired.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

WVU Cardiac Electrophysiology
is currently comprised of fivefull-time faculty, supported by dedicated staff including fiveAPPs, four RNs, and six remote CIED monitoring personnel. Ourservice portfolio and equipment are state-of-the-art, and we aresupported by cardiac anesthesia, surgery, imaging, and a largegeneral cardiology fellowship program. An Electrophysiologyfellowship program will launch in July 2025. Call is uniquelynon-intrusive.
