Job description
Join an award-winning health system and a compassionate, collaborative oncology team in the heart of the Idaho mountains. St. Luke’s Cancer Institute is seeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist to join our dedicated and highly skilled team in Ketchum, Idaho; a destination known for its breathtaking scenery, world class recreation, and tight knit community. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice leading edge oncology within a supportive, patient-centered environment that values teamwork, innovation, and work-life balance.
Why Join St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Ketchum, Idaho
Collaborative Team Environment: Be part of a collegial group throughout the health system of experienced medical oncologists, advanced practice providers, radiation oncologists, and dedicated support staff focused on delivering exceptional, compassionate care.
Comprehensive Support Services: Access to a broad network of dietitians, social workers, financial advocates, and research staff, ensuring holistic patient and provider support.
Integrated Care Network: Close collaboration with other St. Luke’s Cancer Institute sites, including Boise, home to Idaho’s only pediatric cancer program, federally sponsored hemophilia center, and fellowship-trained surgical oncologists across multiple specialties.
Advanced Technology & Systems: System-wide Epic EMR ensures seamless coordination across the St. Luke’s network.
More than sixty specialties converge here, including Idaho’s only Children’s Hospital. Physicians benefit from modern operating suites, advanced technology, and integrated support through technology – enabling them to spend more time on meaningful patient care and less on administrative burdens.
But inside St. Luke’s, the standout feature isn’t equipment or facilities—it’s the culture.
We believe exceptional care begins with an environment that supports our clinicians. Nationally recognized by the American Medical Association's Joy in Medicine program for reducing burnout and boosting clinician well-being, St. Luke’s leads in team collaboration, professional growth, and shared decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: MD/DO from accredited medical school
BC/BE in Specialty
Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System
