Locum Physician - Physiatry (PM&R) in Bay City, MI Inpatient Rehab Focus Looking for a flexible locum opportunity with competitive pay, a reputable facility, and a supportive team? Join a leading facility in Bay City, MI, providing expert inpatient rehab coverage from November 23 to December 4. Quick Facts Location: Bay City, MI (3250 East Midland Road) Start Date: 10/14/2026 Coverage Dates: 11/23 27/2026 & 11/30 04/2026 Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm Hours per Week: 40 Employment Type: Temporary/Locum License/Certs: BLS required Experience: Prior physiatry/inpatient rehab experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: Competitive hourly pay (rate not specified; pay package discussed upon application) Benefits: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure and travel reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program What You ll Do Provide face-to-face care for adult patients on an inpatient rehab unit (20 beds) Perform patient evaluations within 24 hours of admission Conduct rounding and consults as scheduled Participate in team conferences and care planning Manage patient documentation and CMS-compliant procedures Prescribe and monitor medications, including narcotics, per guidelines Complete discharge summaries and post-admission evaluations What You Need Required: Certification in BLS, valid physiatry (PM&R) license 2+ years of relevant clinical experience preferred Strong skills in inpatient rehabilitation, patient-focused care, and documentation Ability to work onsite during scheduled hours About the Assignment Join a dynamic inpatient rehab unit dedicated to providing high-quality adult rehabilitation care. The facility features a 24-hour lab and anesthesia department support. This short-term assignment is perfect for physicians looking to make a difference while maintaining flexible scheduling. Please note that the coverage does not include outpatient clinic work; focus is solely on inpatient rehab.
