What You ll DoPerform routine laboratory procedures using analyzers, spectrophotometers, and other equipment
Maintain quality control by running standards and controls, troubleshooting instrument malfunctions
Analyze blood, plasma, and platelets for transfusions, including blood typing and compatibility testing
Calibrate and maintain laboratory analyzers and other equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions
Prepare detailed reports of laboratory findings for healthcare providers
Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents
Follow safety and quality standards to ensure accurate and timely test results
What You Need
Required:
Valid Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technologist license
Solid knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment calibration
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Preferred:
Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting
Familiarity with blood banking procedures
