Quick Facts Location: 2010 Health Campus Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22801 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent position Shift: 24-hour shifts with flexible out-of-house call Hours/week: Full-time Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certs: Board Certified in Neonatology Experience: Relevant Neonatology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Please note this is likely a placeholder; salary discussed at interview) Benefits include: Competitive salary based on experience Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance Retirement plans including 401(k) with match Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program Employee assistance and identity protection programs What You ll Do Provide family-centered neonatal care in a Level II special care nursery Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to coordinate care Participate in clinical quality improvement (CQI) and research projects Contribute to a team supporting service expansion and best practices Support newborns' health and well-being during your shift Engage with a network of experienced Pediatrix providers across numerous NICUs What You Need Valid medical license in Virginia Certification in Neonatology (Board Certified) Prior experience in neonatal intensive care preferred Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication skills and compassion for families About the Assignment This opportunity is located in a well-established hospital in Harrisonburg, VA, offering a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.
