Momentum Healthcare Staffing (Momentum HCS) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Neurologist to join a growing, hospital-employed neurology practice in Dothan, Alabama. This opportunity is available due to continued practice growth and offers an excellent outpatient-focused practice environment with no inpatient responsibilities and no call. The ideal candidate will be Neurology residency trained and comfortable performing EMG studies. Additional fellowship training in Neurophysiology or a related subspecialty is preferred but not required. Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of neurological conditions.Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.Perform EMG studies as part of routine clinical practice.Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies.Provide evidence-based outpatient neurological care.Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neuroendovascular Surgery, APPs, and other specialists.Coordinate patient care with rehabilitation and other ancillary services.Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care.Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using Epic EMR.Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest professional standards. QualificationsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.Willingness and ability to perform EMG studies.Fellowship training in Neurophysiology or a related subspecialty is preferred but not required.Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license.Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.Visa candidates are welcome to apply.Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered neurological care.
