Job DescriptionSeeking a BE/BC Epileptologist to join our growing Neurology Department in western West Virginia.\ N
Highlights: \ N
Full-time,hospital employed position
\ N Join an existing Epilepsy Physician and 8 Neurologists in a growing Neuroscience Department
\ N Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgeon on staff
\ N Faculty members including General, Pediatric, Neurohospitalist, Neuromuscular, Movement, Headache, and Vascular
\ N Level 3 Epilepsy and Seizure Center is first in the region
\ N Epilepsy monitoring unit has 5 specially equipped rooms for adults and 2 for Pediatrics
\ N Position involves clinic, hospital, and teaching components
\ N Provide evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for general Neurology and epilepsy patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
\ N Provide general Neurology call coverage with other neurologists in a shared system
\ N Active in physician andhospital outreach activities related to neurology/epilepsy
\ N Participate in medical student and resident education, as well as research
\ N All other appropriate duties as assigned by the chair of the Department of Neurology
\ N Multidisciplinary team includes Radiologists, Clinical Pharmacists, Nursing Dietitians, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists
\ N Established Neurology Residency Program
\ N New Medical Office Building under construction with 1 and 1/2 floors dedicated to Neurology and Neurophysiology
\ N
