JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: L-MD-8 Profession: Physician Specialty: Neurology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: St. Louis, MO 63128 Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Shift Schedule: 7 on, 7 off; 7a 7p Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 10-15 patients/day Rounding: Assigned Patients Case Mix: Neurology, Stroke FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: PA/NPs: 2 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible Licenses: Active MO License or Universal License (IMLC) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide neurological consultations for inpatients. Manage stroke patients and participate in stroke codes. Perform nerve conduction studies and EMG as needed. Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Work a 7-on, 7-off shift schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM.
