Neurologist Needed in Atlantic City, NJ Outpatient General Neurology

Start Date: ASAP
End Date/Duration: Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired
Shift: Monday - Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Hours/week: Full-time; minimum 3 days/week commitment preferred
Employment Type: Per diem, temporary
License/Certs: Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license and DEA; Board Certified or Eligible in Neurology
Experience: Outpatient neurology experience preferred

What You ll DoProvide outpatient neurology assessments and management for adult and geriatric patients
Manage common neurological conditions such as headaches, seizures, neuropathy, movement disorders, MS, and post-stroke follow-up
Review diagnostic imaging, labs, and outside records to inform care
Prescribe and monitor medications appropriately
Collaborate with a team of providers, including primary care and specialist colleagues
Complete timely documentation and follow-up in Cerner/Oracle Fusion EMR
Rotate among multiple outpatient sites, ensuring continuous patient access and care quality
What You Need
Required:
Current, unrestricted NJ Medical License and DEA registration
Board Certified or Eligible in Neurology
BLS certification
Ability to provide consistent outpatient neurology coverage
Willingness to rotate among multiple locations
Preferred:
Prior outpatient neurology experience
Comfort managing a full scope of general neurology conditions

This position provides vital outpatient neurology services across three well-established North Jersey locations, supporting patients with a variety of neurological conditions. Providers will work within a collaborative team dedicated to care excellence, with schedules tailored to operational needs and provider availability.
