Business Unit: Rush Medical Group

Hospital: Rush University Medical Center

Department: Neurosurgery

Work Type: Full Time

Candidate Profile

Candidates must demonstrate an established trajectory of regional, national, or international recognition in brain tumor surgery and research.

Faculty rank and tenure status will be determined by the qualifications, academic achievements, and experience of the successful candidate. The major criteria for appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor at Rush University include a sustained track record of excellence in clinical care, clinical teaching, and scholarly activity that significantly advances the field of neuro-oncology.

Board Status: Board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons (ABNS).

Academic/Research Track Record: A proven history of peer-reviewed publications, a strong portfolio of translational/clinical research, and a demonstrated ability to secure sustained extramural research funding.

Experience: Demonstrated leadership in clinical care, resident and fellow education, and institutional service.

Pay Range: $728,000 - $1,097,325 (TCC)
