\ NWe are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
\ NLocal Team Collaboration:
\ N Join our closely knit, established team of 8 physicians supported by a Program Coordinator.
\ N The hospital is licensed for 205 acute care beds, 52 med surg, and 12 PCU beds.
\ N We have a stable team that is steadily expanding. We are looking to add more clinicians to our growing practice.
\ N Maria Parham Hospital is a Duke LifePoint Healthcare system and is a well-established hospital in Henderson, NC.
\ N A wide range of services is available, including OB/GYN, Pulmonology, cardiology, critical care, ortho, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
\ N We welcome complex cases while ensuring our team is supported with resources
\ N Qualifications:
\ N Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
\ N H1B and J1 candidates are invited to apply;
access to Sound’s in-house visa specialists, as well as our licensing and credentialing experts;
all required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered
\ N Key Responsibilities:
\ N Provide hospitalist care in an open ICU environment and PCU with intensivist coverage during the day, staffed by physician nocturnists with intensivist consult support for coverage at night.
\ N Procedures are not required.
\ N Participate in the codeteam, with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
\ N Focus on delivering high-quality care while benefiting from a flexible schedule, allowing for time with family, friends, and personal interests.
\ N Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
\ N Scheduling:
\ N Nocturnist hours are 7 p.M.- 7 a.M., 7-days-on, 7-days-off with schedule flexibility.

Rewards and Compensation:
\ N Competitive compensation package and higher pay with bonuses.
\ N Yearly average compensation for nocturnists is $350k.
