nAs a Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician at Corewell Health West, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage acute and chronic medical conditions, and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.
nOpportunity Highlights:
nnnThe nocturnist primary role is overnight admissions.
n
nnThe Nocturnists work shifts at both Butterworth and Blodgett Hospitals.
n
nnThe Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) cover the floor calls.
n
nnCollaborate with colleagues to enhance patient safety, quality, and efficiency.
n
nnParticipate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and case reviews.
n
nnMentor medical residents and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
n
nnExcellent schedule of 155 shifts per year.
n
n nQualifications
nnnLicense – Michigan MD/DO
n
nnBE/BC Internal Medicine Residency or Family Medicine Residency (with demonstrated strong inpatient experience)
n
nnCertification - Basic Life Support (BLS)
n
nnCertification - Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
