nAscension Seton is looking for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our incredible team of cardiologists caring for our community.
nThis is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Seton to provide medical services to patients.
nPosition Highlights:
nHow you’ll make an impact in this role
nnnOutpatient clinic general cardiology
n
nnCall responsibility and support for the Dell Medical School rounding team at 2 hospitals.
n
nnPosition will provide additional general cardiology support for 2 interventional cardiologists, allowing them more time for interventions.
n
nnFull team of clinic support,
n
n nResponsibilities:
nnnEvaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.
n
nnRecommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
n
nnAccepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.
n
nnParticipates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
n
nnProvides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
n
nnParticipates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

n nWhat minimum requirements you’ll need
nLicensure / Certification / Registration:
nnLicensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
n nEducation:
nnDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
