About the Opportunity
\ NAre you a compassionate Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a physician practice setting? We are seeking a dedicated Physician Practice Nurse (RN) to support healthcare providers and clinical staff in delivering safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care.
\ NIn this role, you will play a key part in patient assessment, clinical triage, treatment coordination, patient education, and supporting the overall quality of care. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while helping create a welcoming, respectful, and patient-centered environment.

What You'll Do
\ N Assess and triagepatients in person and by telephone, using established protocols to determine appropriate care and follow-up.
\ N Conduct patient intake,obtain medical histories and vital signs, and complete health screenings.
\ N Administer medications and immunizations as ordered.
\ N Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, diagnostic testing, and treatments.
\ N Perform wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection.
\ N Educate patients and their support systems on treatment plans, preventive care, chronic disease management, and follow-up instructions.
\ N Communicate test results and coordinate care with providers and other healthcare team members.
\ N Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
\ N Support the training, orientation, and ongoing competency development of clinical staff.
\ N Mentor and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Medical Office Assistants (MOAs), ensuring adherence to scope-of-practice guidelines.
\ N Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
\ N What We'reLooking For
\ NRequired Qualifications
\ N Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
\ N Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
\ N Current BLS certification through an accepted provider.
\ N At least one year of nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting.
\ N Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
\ N Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and clinical support staff.
\ N Preferred Qualifications
\ N Previous experience in an outpatient or physician practice setting.
\ N Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
\ N Experience with patienttriage, patient education, and clinical team collaboration.
\ N Interview Process
