Job Summary and Responsibilities
nAs our OB/GYN physician, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Federal Way, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of women's health cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. nYou will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.
nTo be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate OB/GYN physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Women's Health disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.
nnnFull-time (.80-1.0FTE) position based at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, WA, a 124 bed Level III trauma center.

nnJoin 5 OB/GYN physicians, 6 CNM's and 2 APP's at this location.
n
nnSchedule includes 4 work assignments per week including clinic, OR and L&D.
n
nnThe group does approximately 1600 deliveries per year. There is 24/7 anesthesia coverage as well as OB hospitalist coverage provided by OBHG for OB triage, OB emergencies and ED calls.

nnSt. Francis has a special care nursery capable of caring for infants as young as 32 weeks. Our partner facility, St. Joseph Medical Center has a Level III NICU and is in close proximity for transfers if needed. We also have a partnership with Seattle Children's for specialty newborn care if needed.

nnEnjoy a mix of both gynecology and obstetrics - including high risk obstetrics and gynecological surgeries. For gynecological surgeries, you will have access to 3 DaVinci XI robots with block time.

nnVMFH Women's Health Service line includes 6 MFM's, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists.

nnFederal Way is located along the Puget Sound Inlet and shadowed by the majestic Mount Rainier in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area.

nnnDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

nnBoard certification or eligibility in OB/GYN

nnActive or eligible license in the state of Washington

nnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
