The Role:
Location: Paducah, KY
Assignment duration: Nov 25-29, 6-7 a month with potential of more
Shift Type: 24-hour. Regular Hours: 7a-7a beeper call; 6-7 a month with potential of more.
In House Call: Yes - In-House and Beeper/Phone Call.
Cases: Routine delivery; Vaginal; Low forceps; Decision-making for C-section; Complicated delivery; C-section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions; VBACs; Repair of 3rd-4th degree lacerations
Site Charting System: EPIC.
Number of Providers Needed: 1-3
Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
Patient Population: Adult
% Outpatient vs Inpatient: 100% Inpatient
Average # of Patients Per Day: 1-6
Midwife Coverage: Midwives will take call and deliver own patients
Nursery Level: II
Delivery volume: 700-800 total deliveries annually
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
