Locum Tenens Opportunity: Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Near Sweet Water, AL We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician for a locum tenens position near Sweet Water, AL. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled OB/GYN physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis.

Position Overview: Specialty : Obstetrics and Gynecology

Start Date : ASAP

End Date : Ongoing

Practice Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient

EMR Systems : Athena & Meditech

Job Responsibilities: Coverage Type :Call only coverage

Full spectrum OB/GYN care, including both inpatient and outpatient services

Round on assigned patients, ensuring continuity of care

Patient Load :Manage up to 25 patients per shift

Work within a department with 20 beds dedicated to OB/GYN services

Procedures :Perform admissions as required

Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services, including labor and delivery, prenatal care, and gynecological surgeries as needed

Candidate Requirements: Licensure :Must be licensed in Alabama

Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates

Certifications :ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required

BLS (Basic Life Support) required

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required

Board Certification :Minimum requirement is board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Fellowship is not required
