On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
Call Type: Beeper Call with Callback
Call Ratio: Flexible; 23 consecutive shifts allowed
Callback Rate: Approximately 03 hours per shift

Patient Demographics: Obstetric and Gynecologic patients
Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 1,185 deliveries annually

Case Mix: OB hospitalist coverage including labor and delivery, surgical backup, and emergency OB/GYN care
FACILITY INFORMATION
No. of Beds in Department: 288 hospital beds; 10-bed Level II NICU
EMR System: Meditech
Office Equipment Available: L&D and surgical services
Specialty Backup Available: CNMs (first assist trained), pediatric hospitalist, 24/7 anesthesia
Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary OB team
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active FL license required (IMLC accepted)
Board: Board Certified in OB/GYN
DEA: Active FL DEA required
Certifications: Not Specified
Experience: Minimum 2 years recent OB hospitalist experience with case logs
Other Qualifications: Must have practiced as OB hospitalist within past 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 24-hour OB/GYN beeper call coverage
Manage labor and delivery patients and perform deliveries
Respond to emergency OB/GYN cases
Collaborate with CNMs and multidisciplinary care team
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR
