Locum OB/GYN Physician - Paducah, KY Inpatient Hospital Coverage Looking for a flexible locum opportunity with excellent pay and a supportive facility? Quick Facts Location: Paducah, KY (a leading facility in Paducah, KY) Start Date: 11/25/2026 End Date/Duration: 11/29/2026 (with possible additional shifts) Shift: 7 am 7 am (on-call coverage) Hours/Week: Variable based on on-call schedule Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: KY medical license preferred; hospital credentialing required ( 90 days) Experience: Experience in OB/GYN with inpatient delivery preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $0.00 (discuss upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Referral bonus program Paid sick time, licensure, travel, and other reimbursements Travel reimbursements including airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage 24/7 dedicated support team What You ll Do Provide inpatient OB/GYN care, including routine and complicated deliveries, C-sections, and breech births Manage VBACs and perform repairs of third and fourth-degree lacerations Handle call coverage for OB/GYN emergencies and inpatient care Collaborate with midwives during deliveries and patient management Document care efficiently using EPIC EMR system Support hospital labor and delivery unit activities Assist with triage visits and patient assessments as needed What You Need Required: Medical license in Kentucky or willingness to obtain Obstetrics and Gynecology experience Ability to provide call coverage and manage inpatient deliveries Preferred: Previous hospital-based OB/GYN experience Competency in EPIC EMR documentation About the Assignment Join a leading hospital in Paducah, KY, providing high-quality inpatient OB/GYN care with a low volume of C-section patients and on-site labs and ultrasound. The facility delivers approximately 700-800 babies annually, ensuring a manageable but impactful scope of work with supportive midwives taking call independently.
