Locum OB/GYN Physician - Paducah, KY Inpatient Hospital Coverage Looking for a rewarding locum opportunity with flexible scheduling? Quick Facts Location: Paducah, KY Start Date: 09/20/2026 Schedule: 7 AM - 7 AM, On-call coverage required Duration: Nov 25-29, with potential for additional dates Hours/Week: Variable Employment Type: Locum Certifications: Medical license in Kentucky or willing to obtain Experience: Prior OB/GYN hospital-based experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: Competitive; pay package discussed upon application Benefits Include: Weekly pay with direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You ll Do Provide comprehensive OB/GYN inpatient care, including routine and complicated deliveries Perform vaginal deliveries, low-forceps, and C-section decision-making Manage complex cases such as breech, multiple births, and emergencies Address patient needs in a Level II nursery environment Collaborate with midwives, who will also handle call coverage and deliveries Document all care thoroughly in the EMR (EPIC) Support patient satisfaction and safety during labor and delivery shifts What You Need Required: Medical license in Kentucky or willingness to obtain Prior inpatient OB/GYN experience Ability to handle routine and complicated deliveries Call coverage capability for hospital-based care Preferred: Experience with low volume C-section patients Familiarity with hospital EMR systems About the Assignment Join a leading hospital in Paducah, KY, providing essential OB/GYN services. You'll cover on-call shifts supporting delivery and patient care in a busy, yet low-volume, hospital setting with onsite labs and ultrasound services. Midwives will assist with deliveries, giving you a collaborative environment to utilize your OB/GYN expertise.
