Pleasant, MI Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Sep 25, 2026 Jan 02, 2027 Call Schedule: 24-hr Call every 5th week Call Coverage: L&D, ER, Surgical, Acute Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: CoveredPATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 4 deliveries/dayFACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner Support Staff Available: 2 APPsPRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: YesREQUIRED PROCEDURES Low risk pregnancy management Vaginal deliveries, C-sections Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations VBAC, OB Ultrasound AmniocentesisJOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Licenses: MI Experience: Min 2 years in OB/GYN Other Qualifications: Local candidate preferredDuties & Responsibilities Provide 24/7 hospital coverage for Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, and Surgical services during call weeks. Perform surgical procedures including C-sections, VBACs, and repair of complex lacerations. Manage acute/urgent surgical needs and provide OB ultrasound and amniocentesis. Conduct emergent clinic consults to determine the necessity of hospital admission. Collaborate with a team of NPs to ensure comprehensive patient care.
