Locum OB/GYN Physician Pomona, NJ Hospital-Based Labor & Delivery Why apply? Work approximately 36 hours weekly managing inpatient labor and delivery in a Level III Trauma Hospital. Immediate start available, with ongoing opportunities until a permanent provider is recruited. Quick Facts Location: 65 West Jimmie Leeds Road, Pomona, NJ 08240 Start Date: 09/24/2026 End Date: Ongoing until permanent hire Shift: 7:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. & 7:00 P.M. - 7:00 A.M., Monday-Friday Hours/week: 36 hours Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Active Medical License in NJ (or eligible) Experience: Hospital-based OB/GYN, labor management, gynecologic emergencies Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $195/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Referral bonus program Paid sick time (per law) Travel reimbursement (negotiable) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide inpatient labor and delivery care at a Level III Trauma Facility Manage laboring patients, including inductions and cesarean sections Respond to gynecological emergencies and provide inpatient gynecological consultations Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care Document patient care accurately in EMR systems such as Cerner / Oracle Support hospital women s health services on a full-time basis until permanent staffing is secured Work a mix of day and night shifts, with no call responsibilities What You Need Required: Medical License in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain one Proven experience managing labor, delivery, and gynecological emergencies Skilled in labor management, inductions, cesarean sections, and gynecologic emergency procedures Preferred: Prior hospital-based OB/GYN experience Comfortable with EMR documentation systems About the Assignment This role is an excellent opportunity for OB/GYN physicians seeking a hospital-based, laborist-style position focused solely on inpatient labor and delivery care.
