Locum OB/GYN Physician Mainland Hospital, Pomona, NJ Are you an experienced OB/GYN physician looking for a flexible locum opportunity with competitive pay? Quick Facts: Location: 65 W Jimmie Leeds Rd, Pomona, NJ 08240 Start Date: 09/24/2026 Duration: Ongoing until permanent hire Shift: 7:00 A.M. 7:00 P.M. / 7:00 P.M. 7:00 A.M. (mix of day and night shifts) Schedule: Approximately 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday Employment Type: Locum / Contract Licenses/Certifications: Medical license required Experience: Hospital-based obstetrical care, labor floor management, gynecologic emergencies Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $195.00 per hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (per applicable laws) Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do: Provide inpatient labor and delivery care at a Level III Trauma Facility Manage labor, inductions, and perform cesarean sections Respond to gynecological emergencies presenting through the Emergency Department Oversee gynecological consultations and inpatient care Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality maternal health services Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems such as Cerner or Oracle What You Need: Valid medical license in New Jersey Experience managing labor and delivery, including inductions and cesarean sections Skilled in gynecological emergency care and inpatient consultations Ability to work efficiently in a hospital-based environment Preferred: prior experience in Level III trauma hospitals About the Assignment: Join a dedicated team providing inpatient labor and delivery services until a permanent OB/GYN is onboarded. This role is ideal for a provider who excels in managing laboring patients, performing cesarean sections, and overseeing gynecological emergencies.
