Job Title: Locum OB/GYN Physician Inpatient Labor & Delivery Pomona, NJ Why Apply? Quick Facts: Location: 65 W Jimmie Leeds Rd, Pomona, NJ 08240 (Mainland Hospital) Start Date: 09/24/2026 Duration: Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired Shift: Mix of daytime (7:00 A.M. 7:00 P.M.) and nighttime (7:00 P.M. 7:00 A.M.) Schedule: Approximately 36 hours/week, Monday through Friday Hours/week: 36 Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: NJ medical license required Experience: Inpatient obstetrics, labor management, gynecological emergencies Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $195.00 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Incentives from robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do: Manage inpatient labor and delivery patient care Oversee labor floor management and inductions Perform cesarean sections and gynecological emergency procedures Provide inpatient gynecological consultations Support the hospital s obstetrics team in patient care and emergency response Document care using Cerner/Oracle EMR systems What You Need: Required: Valid NJ medical license Experience managing labor and delivery patients Labor floor management expertise Experience with patient inductions and cesarean sections Skilled in gynecological emergency care Preferred: Prior hospital-based obstetrics experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment This opportunity is ideal for an OB/GYN physician seeking a hospital-based, laborist-style role dedicated to inpatient labor and delivery coverage. You will be supporting women's health services at a reputable Level III trauma hospital, focusing exclusively on inpatient obstetrics and gynecologic emergencies.
