JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Cooperstown, New York Coverage Period: Nov 07, 2026 Nov 14, 2026 Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 8AM-8PM or 8PM-8AM Hours Per Shift: 12 Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: Approximately 1000 deliveries per year Case Mix: Obstetrics and Gynecology, including cesarean sections, D&C, laparoscopy for ectopic pregnancy FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: EPIC Specialty Backup Available: Backup MD coverage Support Staff Available: 24/7 Midwifery Coverage (APP) PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 60-120 Days Temporary Privileges Available: No REQUIRED PROCEDURES Cesarean section D&C Laparoscopy for Ectopic Pregnancy JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC in OB/GYN Licenses: Active NY License DEA / CDS: Not specified Certifications: Not specified Experience: OB/GYN Hospitalist DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide OB/GYN hospitalist coverage for assigned shifts Manage deliveries and perform cesarean sections, D&C, and laparoscopy for ectopic pregnancy as needed Collaborate with 24/7 midwifery and backup MD coverage Document patient care in EPIC EMR Adhere to all facility protocols and credentialing requirements
