JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: L-MD-27440 Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Centralia, WA Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jan 01, 2027 Ongoing Shift Schedule: 10 shifts per month, 7a-7a On-Call Shift Schedule: In House Call, 24-hour shifts Call Type: In House Call Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by AgencyPATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 5 patients/day Rounding: Both Case Mix: Obstetrics, Gynecology, High-risk pregnanciesFACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs: TBD, MAs: TBD, PA/NPs: 1, Office Staff: TBDPRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: NoREQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE) OB Ultrasounds (Performance of, interpretation) Level I/Screening (viability) Routine delivery Vaginal Low forceps Decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery C-section Breech Multiple births Abruptions VBAC's Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) Surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only (tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation), Operative/major (includes diagnostic) (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Certified (BC required) Licenses: Active or Universal License (IMLC) DEA: Required Fellowship: PreferredDuties & Responsibilities Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology patients. Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including fetal heart rate interpretation and ultrasound. Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal, forceps, c-sections, and VBACs. Conduct surgical gynecology procedures, including open and laparoscopic surgeries. Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
