JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Hood River, OR Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Jan 01, 2027 Ongoing Shift Schedule: 8a-5p OP: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off Call Schedule: Nights & Weekends Nights; 5p-7a Weekends; 7a-7a 8 shift/month Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 20-30 minutes Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15 Average Daily Deliveries: 0-2 Annual Deliveries: 208 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs: 2, MAs: 4 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required Low risk pregnancy FHR interpretation OB U/S Routine & complicated deliveries Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor GYN JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Licenses: Licensed in OR DEA: Required Certifications: BLS, NRP Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient OB/GYN care in clinic Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Perform deliveries and emergency OB procedures during call shifts Conduct minor GYN procedures in office and surgical cases in OR Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies Participate in beeper call coverage including weeknights and weekends
