JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: OB/GYN Hospitalist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Rowlett & Fort Worth, TX Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Shift Schedule: 24-hr or 12-hr shifts - 7a-7a, 7a-7p, 7p-7a Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Annual Deliveries: 1700 (Rowlett) Admissions: Yes Rounding: Yes Case Mix: Obstetrics, Gynecology, Labor & Delivery, Deliveries, OB Triage, GYN Emergencies, Emergency Consultations FACILITY INFORMATION Specialty Backup Available: Neonatology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Anesthesiology Support Staff Available: NNP, Labor & Delivery Team and Hospital Staff NICU Level: III (Rowlett) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OB Triage and Admissions Attend Vaginal Deliveries Inpatient OB/GYN Care Cover the OB Floor See Unassigned Patients Provide Private Call Coverage ER Consults for Gynecologic Emergencies Surgical Assists at Cesarean Sections Fetal Monitoring Emergency Response in Labor & Delivery JOB REQUIREMENTS <
