Job Description\ N Join a dynamic Labor & Delivery team as an OB Hospitalist, providing dedicated, in-house coverage for obstetric patients. This is your chance to practice at the top of your license, supporting a collaborative care team without the demands of outpatient practice.

Salary per MGMA standards " tiered salary based on experience
\ N Varied shift schedules
\ N NO CALL
12-hour shifts, 14 shifts per month
\ N Schedule includes days,nights, weekends, and holidays
\ N Dedicated in-house coverage " no competing outpatient responsibilities during your shift
\ N Provide care for any unassigned patients who present to L&D, or, if requested, in consultation with the ED
\ N Provide triage for patients presenting to OB ED services.
\ N Perform vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and other services for patients of the attending Obstetrical providers in coordination with the patient's Obstetrical Providers, or in an emergency situation.
\ N Serve as a surgical assistant for the attending Obstetrical providers.
\ N Be available to supportthe Certified Nurse Midwives and Advanced Practice Providers.
\ N Qualifications
MD or DO required
\ N Board Certified or Board Eligible " ABOG
\ N 3"5 years post-residency clinical experience or OB/GYN fellowship training preferred
\ N High proficiency managing high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric emergencies
\ N High proficiency in operative vaginal deliveries and complex Cesarean sections
\ N High-level fetal heart rate tracing interpretation
\ N Active or eligible NY medical license
