Job DescriptionLocums | OB/GYN | Paducah, KY (KY or IMLC) Why This Role
6-7 shifts/month with potential for more
Low-volume call coverage
Midwife support
BC/BE welcome
Temporary privileges available
Assignment Details Start/end: November 25-29, 2026; ongoing 6-7 shifts/month
Schedule: 24-hour coverage, 7am-7am
Coverage type: In-house + beeper/phone call
Volume: ~1-6 patients/day
Setting: 100% inpatient/hospital-based
Support: Daily midwife coverage; midwives manage and deliver their own patients
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: ~90 days; temporary/expedited privileges available
Clinical Details Required scope: Routine vaginal delivery and low forceps
Required scope: C-section decision-making and C-sections
Required scope: Complicated deliveries including breech, multiples and abruptions
Required scope: VBAC
Required scope: Repair of 3rd- and 4th-degree lacerations
GYN call coverage required
Level II nursery
Low C-section volume
~700-800 deliveries annually
Requirements Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
License: KY or active IMLC
BLS
Active DEA
Must be available November 25-29
Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number
Malpractice provided
