nUnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. nJune E. Nylen Cancer Center

nFor 30 years the June E. Nylen Cancer Center has been leading the region in comprehensive cancer and hematology care. The years have been marked by collaboration, change, and growth.

nOur physicians and staff feel it is a privilege to provide the highest quality, compassionate care through prevention, treatment, and research in Siouxland. Last year we cared for about 5,500 patients who had more than 41,000 visits to our facility. Each day about 150 patients come to our center for hope and healing.

nnnEstablished team of (3) Medical Oncologists, (2) Radiation Oncologists, (2) APPs

nnCohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences

nnExperienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community consisting of: RN Navigators, Social Worker, Case Managers, Referral Speciaists and more

nnComprehensive onsite services in one location to include: Hem/Onc, Rad/Onc Clinics, and Infusion Center

nResponsibilities

nnnAverage of 20 patients per day; no nights, weekends, or holidays

n

nn4 day work week

n

nnClinic hours M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

n

nnNo call

n

nnOutpatient practice

n

nnAbility to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

nnEvaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care

n

nnPatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment

nnExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

n

n nQualifications

nnnMD or DO

n

nnBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Oncology

n

nnAbility to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

n

nnHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice

n

nnEligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

n

nnJ-1 waiver sponsorship available
