"Hematology/Oncology PhysicianAssignment Details Location: Ketchikan, Alaska Start Date: October 2026 Duration: 26 weeks Provider Type: Physician Specialty: Hematology/Oncology FTE: 0.25 Practice Setting: Outpatient Hospital and clinic privileges required Coverage Reason: Gap in coverage No Call EMR: Epic Clean credentialing file required due to expedited credentialing needsCompensation:Hourly Rate: $475/hrOvertime: $590/hrHoliday: $710/hrSchedule 5 days per month 8:00 AM5:00 PM 1-hour lunch break 8-hour shifts Remote inbox coveragePatient Population Adult Geriatric Approximately 1216 patients per dayClinical Responsibilities Provide medical oncology and hematology services Provide infusion-related oncology/hematology care Bone marrow biopsies Provider will work independentlyRequirements Alaska license required at time of presentation Alaska DEA required BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification required Must be comfortable working independently Epic experience preferred Clean credentialing file requiredCase Log Requirements Must provide documentation of Hematology/Medical Oncology services performed during the previous 24 months Case logs must demonstrate experience representative of the scope and complexity of requested privileges Case log requirement may be waived for providers who completed training within the previous yearAdditional Information Critical access setting Adult Level IV trauma designation Coverage approval currently noted through March 30, 2027"
