"Hematologist/OncologistPosition OverviewSeeking an experienced Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to provide outpatient hematology and oncology coverage. The provider will manage direct patient care, oversee the chemotherapy program, and perform bone marrow biopsies.Compensation:Orientation: $250/hrHourly: $505/hrHoliday: $760/hrScheduleStart Date: January 1, 2027Assignment Length: 912 monthsMondayThursday3 days per week8:00 AM 5:00 PMNo callPractice SettingOutpatient Oncology ClinicResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient hematology and oncology careEvaluate new and established patientsDirect the chemotherapy programPerform bone marrow biopsiesManage approximately 1518 patients per dayComplete approximately 13 consultations per weekRequired ProceduresBone marrow biopsiesEMReClinicalWorks (eCW)MeditechSupport StaffHematology/Oncology-trained Advanced Practice ProviderNursing staffRequirementsMD or DOBoard Certified in Medical Oncology or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency completion)Board Certified in Hematology (highly preferred)Active Oregon license preferred (IMLC and licensing candidates accepted)Completion of an accredited residency/fellowshipBLSDEA (required during credentialing)Must be able to perform bone marrow biopsiesClean malpractice/background history preferredAdditional InformationOutpatient only with no inpatient responsibilities or admissionsCredentialing can be completed in approximately 30 days after receipt of a completed applicationThis opportunity is available due to a provider retirement."
