Job description
A regional healthcare organization in the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee (Johnson City / Kingsport / Bristol region) is seeking a BC/BE Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a well-established cancer care program. Position Highlights: Full-time hematology/oncology practice focused on cancer and blood disorders Diagnose, evaluate, and manage a wide range of oncologic and hematologic conditions Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy and related therapies Order and interpret diagnostic testing, labs, and imaging studies Outpatient-focused practice with coordinated access to infusion services and full-spectrum oncology support Work within a multidisciplinary care model alongside oncology nursing, pharmacy, navigation, and support services Integrated collaboration with radiation oncology, surgery, pathology, radiology, and other specialties for comprehensive treatment planning Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards to guide complex case management Strong referral network across a large regional service area with established continuity of care pathways Opportunity to contribute to a well-structured oncology program focused on evidence-based, personalized care Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package Stable employed physician model Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage Supportive, team-based clinical environment with strong infrastructure Opportunity to join a growing regional cancer program Location & Lifestyle: Set in the scenic Appalachian Highlands of Northeast Tennessee, this community offers an appealing mix of outdoor beauty, affordability, and small-city convenience.
