Job description
Are you a Board-Certified Physician in Oncology seeking a locum tenens opportunity in a serene and picturesque area near Hallie, KY? We have an exciting opportunity available to provide coverage from December 16, 2024, to January 16, 2025 . This is an excellent chance to practice in a supportive environment while enjoying the charm of eastern Kentucky.
Position Details Specialty: Oncology
Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient care required
Schedule: Clinical hours only (no on-call requirements)
Includes holiday coverage for New Years Day
Patients Per Shift: 5
Department Beds: 3
Credentialing Requirements Board Certification: Required
License: Must hold a valid KY medical license or qualify under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
Certifications: ACLS
BLS
PALS
Temporary privileges are available for qualified candidates.
Support & Resources Collaborative practice model with:1 RN
1 Medical Assistant
1 PA/NP
1 Office Staff member
Access to an EMR System : MediTech
Assignment Highlights Opportunity to work in a facility with stroke certification.
No hospital or surgery center privileges required.
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days.
Professional liability insurance is provided by the vendor.
