JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Medical Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Hartford, Connecticut Coverage Period: Nov 02, 2026 Feb 28, 2027 Shift Schedule: Days, 8a 5p Shifts Per Week: At least 3 Reason for Coverage: Coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15-20 patients per day Case Mix: 100% Breast Medical Oncology FACILITY INFORMATION Support Staff Available: 3 MDs and 2-3 APPs DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outpatient breast oncology consultations and follow-up care for 15-20 patients per day. Develop and manage treatment plans including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and advanced practice providers. Participate in tumor boards and case conferences. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
