Job DescriptionRadiation Oncology Opening in ME Located in Presque Isle, MEPer diem, hospital-employedPosition Highlights:
\ N Per diem, hospital-employed Radiation Oncology opportunity
\ N Flexible 1- to 2-week assignments
\ N Approximately 6-12 weeks of coverage needed annually
\ N Support an established single-physician Radiation Oncology practice
\ N Collaborate with Medical Oncologists, Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Physicists, Medical Dosimetrists, and ancillary staff
\ N TrueBeam linear accelerator installed in 2025
\ N Vision RT utilized for motion management and RayStation for treatment planning
\ N Treatments include IMRT, SBRT, SRS, IGRT, and Xofigo
\ N Approximately 18-20 patients on treatment
\ N Approximately 5 simulations per week
\ N Hybrid physics support and remote dosimetry support
\ N Oncology nurse navigation services
\ N 24/7 Hospitalist support
Compensation & Benefits: \ N $304.09 hourly rate
\ N Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
\ N Paid time off

Qualifications:
\ N MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
\ N Visa sponsorship is notavailable
Community: \ N Located in Presque Isle, the largest city and economic hub of Aroostook County
