Job DescriptionAn established cancer institute in Central Illinois, near Bloomington is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary team.\ N

Position Highlights: \ N

Full-time Radiation Oncology opportunity

\ N Practice external beam radiation therapy ;

HDR brachytherapy is not required

\ N Experienced physicians and new graduates welcome

\ N Join a collaborative team of 7 Radiation Oncologists across multiple Central Illinois locations

\ N State-of-the-art VarianTrueBeam® with micro-MLCs and onsite CT simulator and PET/CT

\ N Treatment capabilities include 3D, IMRT with RapidArc®, SRS, SRT and SBRT

\ N Active stereotactic radiotherapy program

\ N EPIC, ARIA and Eclipse treatment planning systems

\ N Dedicated support from 2 medical physicists, medical dosimetrist, 4 radiation therapists and 2 RNs

\ N Weekly Quality Assurance Radiation Oncology Conference and disease-specific Tumor Boards

\ N Strong collaboration with Medical Oncology and Surgical Services

\ N Opportunity for academic appointment through an engineering-focused medical school

\ N Strong clinical cancer research program with an NCI-supported NCORP grant

\ N Access to more than 100open clinical trials across East Central Illinois

\ N Opportunity to support investigator-initiated research through an established clinical research institute
