We have an exceptional position available in Arkansas, near Harvey, AR, providing a chance to contribute to the advancement of cancer care in a vibrant healthcare setting.Key Details: Specialties: Radiation Oncology Department: Radiation Oncology Start Date: March 18, 2024 Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Unspecified (Historical) End Date: March 22, 2024 Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, 4th of July Providers Requested: 1 Physician Provider Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only EMR System: Utilizing Epic for streamlined electronic medical records Practice Setting: Primarily Outpatient, with occasional Inpatient requirements Patients Per Shift: Managing a substantial load of 60 patients Bed In Department: No inpatient beds in the departmentPractice Details: Coverage Schedule: Monday through Friday, providing clinic coverage only from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Support Staff: A dedicated team comprising 5 Radiation Therapists, 2 DOSIM, and 2 on-site physicists, with a 0.5 FTE physician at the location Equipment: 2 LINAC Varian 21E (MV imaging) / Varian True Beam STX On-site Big Bore Simulator HDR (GYN T&O&Cylinder) available but not mandatoryCredentialing Information: Board Certification Requirement: Yes Fellowship: Required Minimum Board Certification: Certified - The following certifications are required Active Licenses in AR: Yes BLS/ACLS/ATLS/ABLS/PALS: Not ApplicableAdditional Information:This locum tenens opportunity provides a unique chance to contribute to cancer care advancements with a dedicated support team and state-of-the-art equipment.
