Radiation OncologistLocation: Rockford, ILJob Type: Locum Tenens / Full-TimeOverview:An outpatient clinic is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time coverage while recruiting a permanent provider. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive radiation oncology care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.$400/hrAssignment Dates:Start: August 3, 2026Ongoing through end of year, with potential extension into 2027Schedule:Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PMNo callNo weekendsPractice Details:Setting: Outpatient clinicEMR: EpicFull weekday coverage required for continuity of careCollaboration with multidisciplinary teams including medical oncology, surgery, and support staffResponsibilities:Evaluate and manage patients undergoing radiation therapyConduct new patient consultations, including review of imaging and pathologyDevelop and oversee radiation treatment plans in collaboration with physics and dosimetry teamsProvide follow-up care and survivorship planningRequirements:Board Certified in Radiation Oncology RequiredActive Illinois License Required (IMLC not accepted)DEA RequiredCSR License RequiredACLS RequiredMinimum 1 year of experience RequiredCredentialing:Estimated timeframe: 60 daysAbout WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparency
