Locum Tenens Opportunity: Radiation Oncologist Are you a skilled Radiation Oncologist seeking an exciting temporary opportunity near Marengo, IA? We are currently looking for a dedicated physician to provide coverage at a freestanding cancer center while we recruit permanent physicians. This position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while contributing to our team and providing exceptional care to our patients.

Practice Setting Located in a free-standing cancer center, this opportunity allows you to work in a supportive environment dedicated to cancer care. With one Hematology/Oncology physician already in practice, you will join a cohesive team focused on delivering high-quality care to patients in need.

Team Dynamics As the sole Radiation Oncologist during your locum tenens coverage, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring continuity of care for our patients. Supported by one Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will collaborate closely to provide comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.

Documentation System/EMR Our facility utilizes advanced documentation systems, including Epic and Cerner EMR platforms, to streamline patient care and enhance communication among healthcare providers. You will have access to state-of-the-art technology to facilitate efficient workflow and documentation processes.

Submission Requirements To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Board Certification: Required

Iowa License or IMLC: Required

ACLS Certification: Required

Certification Requirements Candidates must hold the following certifications:

ACLS Certification

Board Certification in Radiation Oncology

State License Requirements Applicants must possess an active license to practice medicine in the state of Iowa.
