Locum Tenens Opportunity: Radiation Oncologist Near Wayland, MI We are currently seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens opportunity near Wayland, MI. This position is available ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis until a permanent hire is made. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) : 1 Nurse Practitioner to support the clinic
Other Radiation Oncologists : Yes, another Radiation Oncologist will be present during the locum tenens coverage
Patient Load: Average Outpatient (Clinic/Office) Per Day : 10-15 patients
Average Inpatient (Call/Rounding) Per Day : 0 patients
Required Procedures: Conventional Radiotherapy
3D Radiotherapy
External Beam Radiation - 3D-CRT
External Beam Radiation - IGRT
External Beam Radiation - IMRT
Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
Required Duties: Orders Tests and Images : Ensure all necessary tests and imaging are ordered for patient care
Prescribing : Manage prescriptions relevant to radiation oncology treatments
Documentation and Systems: EMR Systems : Aria & Epic
Certification and Licensing: Certification Requirements : BLS, Board Certified, or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
State License Requirements : Active Michigan license required
