Detail SpecificationSpecialty Radiation OncologyPractice Setting Outpatient Clinic (Cancer Center / Hospital-Affiliated)Start Date ASAPEnd Date OngoingSchedule / Shift Monday Friday, Full-Time (5 days per week)Coverage Type Clinic Only (No call requirement)Credentialing Timeline 30 Days (Fast-track privileging available)State Licensure Active Missouri (MO) license or IMLC Letter of QualificationBoard Certification Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC)Life Support / Certifications ATLS and BLS requiredEMR System EpicClinical Scope & Key ResponsibilitiesProvide solo or primary full-time clinical Radiation Oncology coverage following the departure of the site's permanent physician.Manage the full outpatient clinical scope 5 days per week, including:Initial new-patient consultations and workupsCT simulations (SIMs) and treatment planningTarget volume contouring and treatment plan reviews/approvalsRoutine on-treatment visits (OTVs) and acute symptom managementPost-treatment surveillance and follow-up evaluationsCollaborate closely with the on-site medical physics, dosimetry, and radiation therapy teams to maintain continuous treatment delivery.Utilize Epic for oncologic documentation, staging, prescription entry, and multidisciplinary communications.Candidate Requirements & QualificationsEducation & Training: ACGME/AOA-accredited residency training in Radiation Oncology.Board Status: Active Board Certification (ABR/AOBR) or Board Eligible.Licensing: Active, unencumbered Missouri medical license in hand or ready to activate via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).Certifications: Current BLS and ATLS credentials.Turnaround: Clean background and references immediately available to meet the expedited 30-day credentialing timeframe.
