Job description
Physicians and medicine PhDs can apply their clinical and research expertise to help improve large language models in specialized medical domains.
Role Overview This remote, primarily asynchronous engagement supports AI research projects with leading AI labs. You will work independently, explore topics that interest you with AI assistance, develop new skills, and contribute to advances in AI across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities Develop medicine-specific prompts and other project materials.
Evaluate large language model responses for accuracy, reasoning, and domain understanding.
Research relevant medical topics and help test the scientific and language capabilities of advanced AI systems.
Qualifications Hold an M.D., D.O., or PhD in Medicine from a U.S. institution.
Be able to participate in primarily asynchronous collaboration with leading AI labs.
Have expertise that exceeds current AI systems in understanding and explaining key concepts in your field.
Bring strong disciplinary and research expertise for selective, project-based cohorts.
Work Terms Remote, independent contractor engagement with flexible, asynchronous hours.
No minimum hourly commitment.
The program operates year-round, but project availability varies by medical domain and placement depends on available projects.
Compensation Up to $125/hr (depending on the project).
Eligibility F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. If your school requires a CPT course, the engagement may not meet your school''s requirements. STEM OPT is not supported.
